- How does it work?
- Used car dealers and managers use UCMLink.com to broadcast their needs to colleagues instantly by email, text message, and listings on the site. Dealers are able to broadcast under one of three options; inventory for sale, wanted inventory, and trade bid requests. When a listing is broadcast, that dealer's contact information is also included in the listing. UCMLink only facilitates communication and does not act as a middle man.
- How do I get started?
- To register, simply click here and fill in the necessary information. Your email address will serve as your login ID and the password of your choosing will be sent to your email. Keep this email for future reference as it has a link to the website included. Add the site to your favorites list for quick access.
- How much does it cost?
- There is a $99.00 subscription fee per month for unlimited access.
- How many dealers are on the network?
- Currently, there are more than 1,000 dealers on the network, mostly in the Southeast. That number is growing everyday and each new member represents another opportunity for you to do business. UCMLink is branching out across the United States and fast becoming an invaluable tool for you and your company.
- How do I know the dealer I'm doing business with is trustworthy?
- Since we simply facilitate dealer communication, it's up to the member to ensure a safe transaction. Common sense should always be used when dealing with new people. OVE has been included as an option. You may allow them to oversee the transaction, inspect the car, and collect funds on your behalf.
- I'm getting too many e-mails about cars I care nothing about.
- Make sure you have set all your Preferences, (Year Range, Makes, Distance, etc.) so that you will hear about only the cars you have selected and within the range you specify. You may also elect to receive group listings sent to your email twice per day (at noon and 5 o'clock Central Time).
- I'm not receiving any e-mails or notifications.
- Make sure you have set all your Preferences, (Year Range, Makes, Distance, etc.) so that you will hear about all vehicles you may have an interest in.
- I'm not receiving text notification.
- First, under "Edit Preferences" make sure your mobile number is correct, the box is checked to send notifications, and that your correct carrier is selected. (Note: With some companies, there are multiple options. You may need to contact your provider to ensure you have made the correct selection.)
- CARFAX, Autocheck, and OVE are not working.
- You must enter your dealership's account ID's in "Edit External Accounts" under "Manage Your Account" to use these options.
- I can't remember my user name or password
- Your user name is your e-mail address, and if you lose your password, you may request a temporary one here. Then, you may login and reset your password to one of your choice.
- I have a great idea to improve the network.
- By all means! It's your community and it will always evolve. There are SUGGESTIONS/COMMENTS Buttons located on the left hand side of our site, click on one of these and fill out the form with whatever you think might improve our service and your experience.
- I'm having a problem and I can't find the answer.
- There are "Support" links located at the top and bottom of each page. During business hours, you can chat live with our support staff by clicking on the "Live Chat" button in the top right-hand corner of each page, or by calling 601-812-5876. After hours, you may leave us a message and we'll get back to you via email or phone as soon as possible.
- My dealer friends are really impressed with the site and the concept.
